Andrea Turner Moffitt
Andrea is a 2x founder with over 20 years of experience spanning entrepreneurship, firm building and banking. Driven by a commitment to world-positive innovation, she has spent the last decade+ as a venture investor backing early to growth stage companies across climate tech, sustainable industry, robotics, AI, and human health. Andrea’s investment portfolio includes 40+ direct investments and 10+ fund investments, all anchored within a strategy to align capital returns and scalable impact.
A leading voice on intentional investing, Andrea authored the book Harness the Power of the Purse. Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Information, Barron’s and Fortune. She is a sought-after speaker and advisor on aligning founder and investor agency with capital, growth, and impact acceleration.
Beyond investing in and advising early stage companies, Andrea serves as a strategic thought partner to family offices and foundations, designing values-aligned investment strategies. Her advisory work provides CEOs and boards with deep operational clarity on growth and revenue strategy, capitalization, high-value client and partnership development, and building and scaling inclusive cultures, leveraging her unique background as an entrepreneur and former tech and project finance banker to optimize growth at every stage.
Andrea holds an MBA and MIA from Columbia University, graduating with honors, and a B.A. from Tulane University. She serves on the boards of Columbia's Tamer Institute and Tulane's Innovation Institute, and on the Investment Committee for the Tulane Venture Fund. Beyond traveling and playing tennis, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family in Brooklyn, California, and the Midwest.
